Dự kiến, trong đêm 17-18/7, vùng núi và trung du phía Bắc Việt Nam sẽ có mưa vừa đến to kèm theo giông. Lượng mưa tích lũy thường từ 50 đến 100 mm và cục bộ vượt quá 250 mm.

Công an tỉnh Lai Châu và lực lượng cứu hộ địa phương đã huy động nhân lực, phương tiện, vật tư cứu hộ nhanh chóng đến các khu vực bị thiên tai và bị mắc kẹt để thực hiện các hoạt động cứu hộ và nỗ lực hết sức để đảm bảo an toàn tính mạng và tài sản cho những người bị ảnh hưởng.
