Tại cuộc gặp, hai bên đánh giá cao những tiến triển trong quan hệ Đối tác chiến lược toàn diện Hàn Quốc - ASEAN và khẳng định sẽ mở rộng hợp tác trong các lĩnh vực như thương mại, đầu tư, chuyển đổi số, trí tuệ nhân tạo, chuỗi cung ứng, năng lượng sạch và chống biến đổi khí hậu. Các bộ trưởng cũng nhất trí thúc đẩy hoàn tất đàm phán nâng cấp AKFTA trong năm 2027 nhằm tạo động lực mới cho thương mại và đầu tư giữa hai bên.
