Thông qua sự kiện này, chúng ta sẽ tăng cường hơn nữa công tác giáo dục lòng yêu nước cho thanh niên Việt kiều trong và ngoài nước, nâng cao nhận thức của thế hệ trẻ về trách nhiệm bảo vệ chủ quyền biển đảo của quê hương, thúc đẩy mối quan hệ chặt chẽ hơn giữa Hoa kiều với quê hương.

Mai Haikui, một thanh niên Hoa kiều sống ở Ba Lan tham gia trại hè bày tỏ tình cảm sâu sắc của mình đối với con người và cảnh đẹp của quê hương. Khi dâng hương tại Khu tưởng niệm chiến binh Rạn San Hô Ma và Tượng đài Thánh Tổ Trần Hưng Đạo, ông vô cùng xúc động và kính phục trước sự hy sinh to lớn của tổ tiên Việt Nam để bảo vệ chủ quyền biển đảo của Tổ quốc. Ông cho biết sẽ tích cực quảng bá, giới thiệu một đất nước Việt Nam tươi đẹp, hòa bình và thân thiện tới bạn bè Ba Lan.

Giống như nhiều trại viên, Nguyễn Bảo Tuấn, một thanh niên Việt kiều sống tại Ukraine, cảm nhận sâu sắc sự quan tâm, yêu mến của đồng hương ở bất cứ nơi nào anh đến trong trại hè. Đây là lần đầu tiên anh tham dự trại hè Việt Nam. Tại tỉnh Khánh Hòa, các trại sinh đã đến Khu tưởng niệm chiến binh Rạn san hô Ma và Tượng đài Thánh Tổ Trần Hưng Đạo để dâng hương. Những hoạt động ý nghĩa này phản ánh tình cảm sâu sắc của thế hệ trẻ Việt kiều tưởng nhớ các liệt sĩ, nhớ đến tổ quốc, gắn bó sâu sắc với cội nguồn của dân tộc.
