Theo kế hoạch được Cục Hàng không Việt Nam phê duyệt, các chuyến bay kiểm tra, hiệu chuẩn được thực hiện liên tục từ ngày 23 đến ngày 28/7. Theo kế hoạch nối lại chuyến bay của Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air, Bamboo Airways, Pacific Airways và Air Asia bắt đầu từ ngày 19/8, các đường bay nội địa sẽ nối lại các chuyến bay gồm TP.HCM, Hà Nội, Đà Nẵng, TP Vinh, Hải Phòng và Cần Thơ, với tổng tần suất từ 36 đến 40 chuyến/ngày.
