Nhằm thực hiện định hướng chính sách của Chính phủ Việt Nam và Bộ Công Thương về đi sâu ngoại giao kinh tế, thúc đẩy đa dạng hóa thị trường xuất nhập khẩu, thu hút đầu tư chất lượng cao và tăng cường xúc tiến thương mại, Văn phòng Thương mại Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Argentina, Paraguay và Uruguay đã có buổi làm việc với đại diện Liên doanh Argentina-Paraguay - Công ty CMA Paraguay (CMA).

Tại buổi làm việc, hai bên đã trao đổi quan điểm về triển vọng hợp tác thương mại giữa Việt Nam và khu vực Thị trường chung phía Nam (Mercosur). Đại diện Văn phòng Thương mại Việt Nam đã thông tin ngắn gọn cho các doanh nghiệp Argentina về quá trình chuẩn bị đàm phán Hiệp định Thương mại Ưu đãi (PTA) giữa Việt Nam và Mercosur, đồng thời nhấn mạnh đây sẽ là cơ sở quan trọng thúc đẩy quan hệ kinh tế, thương mại giữa Việt Nam với Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay và Brazil trong thời gian tới.
